India's first
one-stop sustainability
experts.
Founded in 2016 in Mumbai, GreenSutra® is India's first and only one-stop sustainability consultancy — covering renewables, waste & recycling, and the full reporting stack. Households, SMBs, and listed enterprises run their entire sustainability mandate on a single roof.
Today everyone wants to make smart choices for waste, energy, and the environment. We exist to help them.
Our mission is very simple. We want to reduce the rate at which all of us are destroying our environment whilst finding solutions to reverse or fix the damages already done.
That mission resolves, day to day, into datasheets, BOQs, filings, and assurance statements. We write them by hand, on real sites, against real frameworks.
One cadence.
Three procedures.
Every engagement moves through the same four beats — intake, execute, verify, close. But a 220 kWp PV array, a BRSR Core filing and a zero-to-landfill programme are not the same work, so the procedure inside each beat differs by vertical. We still tell you which beat you're in, every week.
Boundary, materiality & data inventory — fixed in writing before we measure.
Site, resource & structural study; system sizing and single-line design.
Stream characterisation + source-segregation plan, by waste category.
Activity data vs verified factors — ISO 14064, GHG Protocol — fully traceable.
Tier-1 kit to IS/IEC; install with staged quality-assurance checkpoints.
Collect, sort and recover — recycle, upcycle or reuse each stream.
Drafted to regulator format — BRSR, CBAM, CSRD — PDF + XBRL where required.
DISCOM grid-sync, performance-ratio test & statutory safety sign-off.
Routed to authorised recyclers with a logged chain-of-custody.
Third-party limited or reasonable assurance, auditor in from week one.
Monitoring portal, warranty & a scheduled operations-and-maintenance plan.
Diversion reporting + EPR-credit reconciliation filed to CPCB/SPCB.
Our Journal.
Longer reads on policy, science, and design — written for the practitioner who already knows the basics. New entries roughly monthly.
