What material is to be considered for plastic EPR in case of MLP (Multilayered Plastic)?

According to the new amendment published by CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) on August 2023 as mentioned on the Plastic EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) portal, the total weight of the MLP (Multilayered Plastic) is required to be taken into consideration for plastic EPR in the case of MLP. 

Prior to the new amendment, the weight of the plastic layer was to be taken into consideration for Plastic EPR in the case of MLP according to the EPR guidelines previously released by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change. 

Category III multi-layered packaging and the other covered streams are detailed under waste streams covered by EPR.
