What are BioPlastics ?
Bioplastics is a generic term used for all bio-based polymers. Unlike regular plastics, bioplastics are eco-friendly and decompose in a matter of few months.
Bioplastics is a term that is used to describe all Bio-Based Polymers. In other words, Bioplastics are those plastics that are derived from renewable biomass sources.
These polymers are derived from renewable sources like:
- Vegetable Oils
- Vegetable Fats
- Corn Starch
- Agricultural By-Products (using micro-organism)
- Plastic Bottles (using micro-organisms)
- Plastic Containers (using micro-organisms)
