The European Sustainability Reporting Standards are referred to as ESRS.

Organizations that are subject to the Corporate Sustainbility Reporting Directive have to report according to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.

Eligible organizations will have to apply the new rules and standards for the first time in the 2024 financial year and disclose the reports in 2025.

The first set of ESRS was officially published in the Official Journal on 22nd December 2023.
