The presence of high concentrations of toxic pollutants or contaminants in soil that pose a risk to human health and the ecosystem can be referred to as Soil Pollution. In other words, soil pollution occurs when large amount materials that are harmful to living beings and environment get mixed into the soil.

Depending on the factors causing this, soil pollution can be either:

  • Negative
