According to the guidelines published by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the entity must first register as a Brand Owner and disclose all information regarding the generation of plastic waste by the company, including imported plastic. Following the Brand Owner Registration, the entity must register as an Importer and give information about the imported plastics and imported products. As a result, the same entity registered as the importer must meet zero liabilities.
