Entities that are only engaged in the collection and trading of plastic waste are not eligible for registering as a PWP (Plastic Waste Processing) Entity.

As per the guidelines notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, only entities that are involved in the following are eligible and required to register as PWP Entities:

Recycling
Co-Processing
Waste to Energy
Waste to Oil

Recycler and processor side registration is covered by the EPR registration and compliance service.
