Which sectors are covered under CBAM?

Six sectors are covered under CBAM:

1. Iron and steel
2. Aluminium
3. Cement
4. Fertilisers
5. Electricity
6. Hydrogen

This applies through the transitional period (1 October 2023 to 31 December 2025) and the definitive period that began on 1 January 2026.
