Now-a-days urban heat island effect can be observed in all densely populated urban areas.
Urban or Metropolitan area that are significantly higher temperatures compared to their surrounding rural areas are referred to as Urban Heat Islands or UHI. This temperature difference is mainly the cause of human activities.
This phenomenon of densely populated urban or metropolitan areas having higher temperatures compared to their surrounding areas is referred to as this Urban Heat Island Effect.
