Energy conservation is the first step towards saving energy and power. Energy Conservation Building code has set up guidelines for buildings for the same.
Energy Conservation Building code is also referred to as the ECBC.
The ECBC is applicable on Commercial Buildings or Commercial Building Complexes that have either :
A connected load of 100kW or greater
A contract demand of 120kVA or greater
The ECBC does not cover buildings intended for private residential purposes.
