Direct Emissions can be defined as greenhouse gas emissions produced directly from sources that are owned, operated and or controlled by the organization / company. These greenhouse gases usually are emitted from the consumption and or combustion of different types of fuels.

Direct Emissions are also referred to as Scope 1 Emissions.
